Capture notes and access them from anywhere

Evernote allows you to write notes and capture information, then access this from anywhere.

The online application provides a simple interface for jotting down ideas, memos and reminders, and the text editor includes a range of formatting options. Once created, you can organize your notes into folders (or notebooks as they're called in Evernote). Finding your notes again is easy thanks to a powerful search tool and the ability to add tags to your notes.

Evernote isn't just restricted to text notes. It also allows you to add photos, audio, or PDF files as notes. This makes it perfect for quickly saving voice notes, inserting interesting images you've come across, or storing presentations and eBooks.

The really great thing about Evernote is its accessibility. Besides the web app, there are versions of Evernote for Windows PC, Mac and a range of mobile devices, including iPhone, Android and BlackBerry. Anything you add via these versions of Evernote becomes instantly visible on the web service (and vice versa). Evernote includes options for sharing your notebooks with others. You can invite friends or colleagues to view notes, or make them publicly available for anyone to see. You're also able to access notes that others have uploaded and made public, adding them to your own notes.

Evernote is an excellent organizational tool for professionals, students and anyone who just wants to get a grip on their thoughts and ideas.
